COMPUTER UPGRADE - TUESDAY 25TH JAN - THURSDAY 27TH JAN 2022

On the above dates our computer systems are being upgraded and our server replaced. We will have NO IT SYSTEMS at all during this time. This means that we will have no access to your medical records.

We will be UNABLE to process any repeat prescriptions during this time, so please help us by ordering your prescriptions before this date, or wait until the following weeks.

APPOINTMENTS WILL BE RESTRICTED TO URGENT MATTERS WHICH CANNOT WAIT UNTIL OUR NORMAL SERVICE RESUMES, AS OUR STAFF WILL HAVE NO ACCESS TO YOUR MEDICAL RECORDS.

We appreciate that this "downtime" is extremely frustrating for both staff and patients, and we are grateful for your patience and understanding while this necessary work is carried out.

Thank you.

Before attending the surgery for a pre booked face to face appointment, please consider the following questions:

Do you or any member of your household family have a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 diagnosed in the last 14 days?

NB: Any person who has previously tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 by PCR should be exempt from being re-tested within a period of 90 days from their initial symptom onset, or first positive test, if asymptomatic, unless they develop new possible COVID-19 Symptoms.

This is because fragments of inactive virus can be persistently detected by PCR in respiratory tract samples for some time following infection.

Do you or any member of your household family have suspected COVID-19 and are waiting for a COVID-19 test result?

Have you travelled internationally in the last 10 days to a country that is on the Government red list?

Have you had contact with someone with a diagnosis of COVID-19, or been in isolation with suspected case in the last 10 days?

 Do you have any of the following symptoms;

  • High temperature or fever?
  • New, continuous cough?
  • A loss or alteration to taste or smell?

 If you answered yes to any of these questions, please contact the surgery to rearrange your appointment and/or receive further guidance.
