Register with us as a New Patient

If you wish to register as a patient of Brunton Place Surgery you need to be living within the practice boundaries (see map) and entitled to register as an NHS patient. Due to current circumstances we ask that you do not come to the surgery

Register online

We are currently registering 30 patients per week via online applications. A small number of applications are accepted daily and forms are released randomly throughout the day, you may have to refresh the page multiple times. If we have reached our daily/weekly limit you can try again the following day, or you can try to register with another practice – please visit the NHS Inform website for options of practices covering your address.

Queries by email or by phone will not be dealt with so please do not call or email us as you are preventing patients requiring clinical attention getting this promptly by blocking our phone/email forums.

Acceptance on to the list is as at the discretion of the Doctor and we may ask you for proof of identity. (Please refer to our registration policy below and why we ask for this). Please note that your medical records may take several weeks to arrive at the Practice.

It is is important to note that you can only permanently register with a GP practice if you’re staying in the area for more than 3 months.

Please note that if you were previously registered with a Doctor outside the UK then the Practice will not have access to your medical notes.  All patients who register from abroad should contact their previous Doctor to obtain copies of their notes.

It can take up to 7 days for all registrations to be processed, so please ensure that you have an adequate supply of any medications required from your previous practice.
